An adaptation of the novel by Ludwig Ganghofer - Two friends, Marlis and Johanna are commissioned to find a new marketing strategy for a remote part of Styria. One of the two tourism experts does not return from her reconnaissance trip. Johanna is shocked to hear about her friends death and returns to Styria to find out more about her friends mysterious death. In Prügg, a little village in the mountains, she meets the mountain climber Ferdiand who might have something to do with Marlis' death and his eccentric brother Jörg.
