Schatten der Erinnerung
A Shadow of Memory
One night Lena had to learn, that her best friend Magda was expecting a baby from Anton, her boyfriend. It was the night her mother died; it was the night in which her father blamed her for her mother's death. Lena hastily left the little village in the mountains. She doesn't even tell Anton that she's pregnant. Years later, Lena has long since finished university and is now working as a forest manager and old friend for hers from her home village visits her to tell her that her father has taken ill and now needs her help. Lena decides to let bygones be bygones and returns to her home with her little daughter Theres. It is Theres and her grandfather's love for her that manages to break the ice between Lisa and her father. Magda is now married to Anton and wants to sell the protective forest of the village to some sleazy real-estate agent from Vienna, which would put the entire village in danger. Lena, together with Anton, manages to prevent this at the last minute. Lena then finds out that Magda lied about being pregnant and told Anton that she had lost her child. Anton and Lena fall in love again. Lena tells him that Theres is his daughter and even can convince her father to have the operation he so desperately needs so all eventually end well.
